At Sunset Hounds our services are designed to cater to your individual needs – we are as flexible as you need us to be. You pay for our time in 20, 40 or 60 minute blocks- what we do with that time is up to you and the needs of your dog. We are a leisurely stroll, a play date, quick car trip, a helping hand. You can mix and match our services to suit the needs of you and your hound, particularly with our weekly and monthly packages.
All initial bookings come with a complimentary introductory 15 minute meet and greet with you and your dog.

About us – Rachel & Lou
We are dog lovers and Mornington Peninsula locals who were looking for a lifestyle change and a chance to work for ourselves. We have 5 dogs between us, and it is clear in both our households that they are the ones in charge!
Over the uncertainties of the past couple of years, we saw a need for a targeted service for seniors and those who have difficulties keeping a dog, but desperately want to have a furry companion. At Sunset Hounds we believe that dogs are more than just a pet – they are family. And sometimes, the more family members a hound has, the better! We want to be another person your pet can rely on.
As we get older, and our beloved hounds age, it can be harder to take care of them the way we used to. We want to help people keep their dogs and stay a part of your family for as long as possible.
