It’s footy finals time again in Melbourne town, and it doesn’t matter what team the doggos barrack for when they walk in the gate, once the gate shuts all puppers are Pies supporters! So adorable!

Another month has passed us by, but thankfully the days are getting warmer and lighter! It has been a great month for old friends coming back to visit or go for walks whilst their folks are on holidays and our regulars continue to be a joy. Bring on Spring!

Last August we introduced you to beautiful Miles, a Boston Terrier who is part of our walking pack. It is our great pleasure to introduce you to his new sister – Poppy the Pug! 4 year old Poppy is certainly a lively addition, excited about her walks and keen to get into all of the flowers and plants in the neighbourhood…and how adorable is that tail?!

Clearly named by a Harry Potter fan, Luna the Spoodle (tan) and Dobbie the House Elf – I mean, Cavoodle (black), have become regular visitors to Sunset Hounds since their recent move to the Peninsula. The 12 year old girls have a knack of finding the most comfy bed, regardless if it is theirs or not! No magic yet, but we wait in hope…

Don’t let that suspicious look in his eye deceive you, one-year-old King Charles Cavalier Frank is an absolute cuddly bunny! It was a pleasure to have him visit recently and become one of the newest members of the Sunset Hounds pack.

Although most likely disastrous for the environment, the beautiful Winter weather has certainly been ideal for our dog walks during July! Barely any walks cancelled or washed out due to rain for the whole month…great for all our walking clients and visitors who love sunbaking on the deck! We hope your July was a good one…as always, thank you for being such loyal members of our Sunset Hounds family.

It was certainly a case of cuteness overload when these 2 gorgeous long-haired mini Dachshunds came to stay and play – Vincent (black) and Goodman (tan), affectionately known now as the Sausage Brothers, were an absolute delight, and loved any opportunity to use Ravi as a pillow!

As a support dog for her owner, 4 year old Groodle Molly truly is a special girl. With a calm and sweet disposition, it is a pleasure to take her on her weekly walks and have her as part of the Sunset Hounds pack!

It was an absolute joy to meet beautiful 12 year old Cavoodle Ellie on her recent stay at Sunset Hounds. Affectionate and easy-going, she was the perfect house guest – amiable and relaxed!

Another crazy, busy month has come to an end! The rain and cold can make things challenging, but the pups are out and about in the sunshine as soon as they get a chance.
As always, we are so grateful for your ongoing support! Stay warm 🙂
