Lovely Lucy

This beautiful girl is 12-year-old Cavoodle, Lucy. She recently had to have an eye removed for medical reasons, however that has not stopped her enjoying her twice-weekly walks with us! She loves the beach and a good sniff around the neighbourhood in Mornington.

Check out our weekly packages on the website if you think your hound would like us to visit during the week for a lovely walk. 20-minute, 40-minute and 60-minute packages available. Give us a call to discuss the specific needs of you and your dog!

Vet visit

It was a pleasure to meet Jed, a Jack Russel/Australian Terrier cross, who we took to his vet appointment for his owner who doesn’t drive. A quick car trip, a check-up, and he was back home in no time. What a gorgeous little man, friendly and patient!

If you need a helping hand getting your dog to his or her appointments, give us a call to discuss your needs.

Sniff and stroll

It is safe to say that Bracken the Golden Retriever is not in a hurry when he goes for a walk! He spends more time stopping and sniffing than he does walking, and he definitely decides when he want to go home by turning around and heading that way.

With millions more sense receptors than humans, a dog’s olfactory system is important as it allows them to process information and provides excellent mental stimulation. So don’t be worried if your dog is more sniff than stroll – they are getting a mental workout that is just as beneficial as a physical one!

Painting the town Sunset Hounds

A massive thank you to the businesses and vet clinics that let us display flyers and cards in their premises this week as we hit the community notice boards– it was great to have that local support!
